We were asked by our friends at Instinct PR to work with their client QVC to help promote the discussion around Menopause.
Working with a selection of high profile women we wanted to create a film and stills bank which felt open and honest. Working with Director Emma Scott we decided to frame the candid conversations with our inspiring contribs in an open studio environment, to break the 4th wall and show the viewer the lights, the cameras and the wider shoot process.
By doing this we were able to disarm the traditionally contrived interview setup and put our stall out as honestly telling the stories of our contribs. We wanted everything to feel like an open discussion as their experiences, the very thing we were trying to promote.
To visually elevate the film further we introduced a series of quirky animations, each visualising certain aspects of the experiences discussed.
By combining a carefully selected music bed, the animation assets and the poignant insights from the contribs we were able to create a film which engaging, informative and more than anything else, genuine.
